Tamás Bárány is an associate professor and the head of the Department of Polymer Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary). He earned his PhD in 2004. He was awarded the Junior Prima Prize (2007), Bolyai-Plakett of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (2013) in 2020 and received two times the HAS János Bolyai Research Scholarship (2005, 2009).

László Mészáros is an associate professor at the Department of Polymer Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary) and ), and a research fellow at the MTA-BME Research Group for Composite Science and Technology. He earned his PhD in 2010 on the topic of thermoplastic nanocomposites. In addition, his research interests include hybrid composites, analysis of the effects of ionizing radiation on polymers, development of shape memory polymers, tire recycling. He received two times the HAS János Bolyai Research Scholarship (2015, 2021).

Kolos Molnár is an associate professor at the Department of Polymer Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary), and a research fellow at the MTA-BME Research Group for Composite Science and Technology. He was appointed as professor extraordinaire at the Tshwane University of Technology (Pretoria, South Africa) in 2019. He was awarded the Youth Academy Award of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2020 and the János Bolyai Scholarship in 2019.

Ferenc Ronkay is a Hungarian mechanical engineer with over 15 years of experience in academia and the industrial area. He earned his Ph.D. in 2007 on the topic of polymer recycling. After spending ten years at Budapest University of Technology and Economics as an assistant lecturer, senior lecturer, and associate professor he works as an R&D group leader for one of the biggest Hungarian plastic processing companies (over 3000 employees). In addition, he became the head of an independent accredited Material Testing Laboratory at Imsys Ltd.

Gábor Szebényi is an associate professor at the Department of Polymer Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary), a member of the MTA-BME Lendület Lightweight Polymer Composites Research Group (Hungary), the head of mechanical testing at the Research Centre of Biomechanics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary) and board member of The Association of the Manufacturers of Reinforced Plastic Materials (Hungary). He was awarded the János Bolyai Research Scholarship in 2014.

Tamás Tábi is an associate professor at the Department of Polymer Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary), and a research fellow at the MTA–BME Research Group for Composite Science and Technology. He earned his PhD in 2011 for research and development of starch filled Poly(Lactic Acid) based biopolymer compounds and still performs research on biopolymers (bio-based and inherently biodegradable). He received two times the HAS János Bolyai Research Scholarship (2013, 2020).

Member of Hungarian Young Academy.
